Terms and Fee Schedule

Peaceful Resolutions LLC provides mediation, facilitation, and alternative dispute resolution services for individuals, families, businesses, educational institutions, nonprofit organizations, and other organizations. The information below outlines our standard mediation rates and related services.
Initial Intake & Pre-Mediation Case Review
One Hour — $75 per person
The initial intake and pre-mediation case review provides an opportunity to obtain preliminary information concerning the dispute, identify the issues to be mediated, review relevant case information, and prepare for the mediation process.
Mediation Rate
$200 Per Hour, Per Party
Peaceful Resolutions LLC’s standard mediation rate is $200 per hour, per party.
The mediation rate includes reasonable preparation for the mediation and preparation of mediated agreements, when applicable.
Pre-Suit Mediation — Two-Hour Minimum
2 Hours — $400 per party
Standard Mediation Example
Pre-suit mediation requires a minimum two-hour session.
For a standard mediation involving two parties:
Party 1: $400
Party 2: $400
Total Mediation Fee: $800
Additional Session Rates
Three-Hour Mediation
$600 per party
Four-Hour Mediation
$800 per party
Full-Day Mediation — 8 Hours
$1,600 per party
What Your Mediation Fee Includes
The mediation fee includes:
- Scheduling and administration of the mediation session
- Reasonable preparation and case review
- Conducting the mediation
- Preparation of mediated agreements, when applicable
- Reasonable post-session facilitation and correspondence when necessary
- Refreshments for participants attending in person
- Lunch for participants attending an in-person full-day mediation
Additional Time
Mediation extending beyond the scheduled session will be billed at the standard rate of:
$200 per hour, per party
Additional time may be billed in accordance with the applicable mediation agreement and scheduling arrangements.
Financial Neutral Services — Collaborative Matters
Retainer
$5,000 per client
Professional Rate
$300 per hour
Financial neutral services are separate from standard mediation services and are subject to the applicable engagement terms.
Travel Expenses
Travel exceeding 30 miles one way may be assessed an additional travel fee.
Any applicable travel charges will be communicated before the scheduled mediation whenever practicable.
Weekend Mediation
Weekend mediation may be available upon request or when necessary because of scheduling limitations.
An additional $200–$400 weekend charge may be allocated among the parties to cover additional staffing, facility, and scheduling expenses. Any applicable weekend charge will be disclosed before the mediation.
Payment
All mediation fees are payable before commencement of the mediation unless otherwise agreed in writing.

For separately invoiced services, payment is due within 14 days of receipt of the invoice. A 5% late fee may be assessed on past-due invoices to the extent permitted by applicable law and the applicable agreement.
